Ruusunmarjaöljy

Ruusunmarjaöljy, also known as rosehip oil, is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the rosehip, a fruit of the rose plant. It is primarily derived from the Rosa canina species, though other rose species can also be used. The oil is recognized for its rich content of essential fatty acids, including linoleic acid and linolenic acid, as well as vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin E.

Historically, rosehip oil has been used in traditional medicine and skincare for its perceived healing and rejuvenating properties. Its high concentration of fatty acids is thought to contribute to skin regeneration and repair, aiding in the improvement of skin texture and tone.
