Rijpingscyclus

Rijpingscyclus (Dutch for maturation cycle) is a term used across disciplines to describe the recurring sequence by which a system, organ, product, or organism reaches a mature or ready-to-use state. A rijpingscyclus typically comprises several phases, such as initiation, growth or accumulation, maturation or ripening, and renewal or cessation of the cycle.
