Rhun

Rhun is a fictional island nation featured in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, primarily within *The Lord of the Rings*. It is located in the far northwest of Middle-earth, across the Great Sea from the shores of Lindon. Rhun is depicted as a vast and somewhat mysterious land, inhabited by various peoples, most notably the Easterlings. These peoples are often portrayed as antagonists in the history of Middle-earth, having allied with Sauron on numerous occasions throughout the Second and Third Ages.
