Reznor
Trent Reznor, born Michael Trent Reznor on May 17, 1965, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the founder and principal creative force behind the industrial rock project Nine Inch Nails (NIN), formed in 1988. NIN released the breakthrough album Pretty Hate Machine (1989) and achieved a major critical breakthrough with The Downward Spiral (1994), a landmark work that helped define 1990s industrial rock. Over the years, Reznor has served as the primary composer, producer, and performer for NIN, shaping its evolving sound through albums such as The Fragile (1999), With Teeth (2005), Year Zero (2007), and Hesitation Marks (2013), among others.
