Reynoldsov

Reynoldsov is a small town in the fictional country of Novaria, situated in the southeastern Novarian plain near the Reynolds River and the Sable Hills. The latest estimates place its population around 6,000. It serves as a regional center for agriculture and light industry.

The town sits on a flat river plain at about 150 meters above sea level. It experiences a temperate continental climate with warm summers and cold winters, supporting crops such as wheat and barley and dairy farming.

Reynoldsov was founded in the early 17th century as a mining and trading settlement and was named after the Reynolds family who owned local mills along the river. It developed into an agricultural service town by the 19th century.

The local economy is dominated by agriculture, small-scale wood products manufacturing, and regional services. Tourism centers on the historic core and river trails. Reynoldsov is connected by regional roads; the nearest railway station is in the neighboring town, about 15–20 kilometers away.

The town hosts the annual Reynolds Festival in autumn, featuring crafts and harvest events. Landmarks include the 19th-century Reynolds Clock Tower and the Reynoldsov Museum. The municipal government consists of a mayor and a council of eight members; education includes one secondary school and several primary schools.

Notable residents include artist Lira Vohare and engineer Tomas Orlov.
