The term blends English "Rewrite" with German "Szenario" and appears in multilingual contexts within design, storytelling, and simulation communities. It is not a formal standard term, but is used to describe a repeatable method for generating alternative narratives or system states.

Methodology involves selecting a base scenario, identifying core variables, proposing alternative values or events, re-running the analysis or narrative, and comparing outcomes. Variants include micro-scenarios with small changes and macro-scenarios that rewrite broader assumptions.

Applications span narrative design, where it supports branching plots and alternate histories; software testing and game design, to stress-test behavior under different conditions; and policy analysis, where different choices are evaluated for potential social or economic impacts.

Example: in a business launch scenario, a RewriteSzenario might explore delays, price changes, or shifts in target segments, then document how revenue, market share, and user adoption would differ.
