Reversaler
Reversaler is a generic term used to denote an agent—an object, device, or software component—that produces the reverse of a given state, sequence, or operation. The word combines the root reverse with the agent suffix -er; it is less common than reverser and may appear in discussions where emphasis is on the action of reversing rather than the mechanism. The concept is closely related to inverse operations and invertible processes.
In mechanical engineering, a reverser refers to components such as a gearbox or clutch assembly that changes
Limitations: not all processes are reversible; many physical and informational operations involve entropy or data loss
