Relojcronógrafos, often referred to as chronographs, are timepieces with a built-in stopwatch function. This distinct feature allows the wearer to measure elapsed time independently of the main timekeeping function. Typically, chronographs are operated by a series of pushers located on the side of the watch case. The upper pusher usually starts and stops the stopwatch mechanism, while the lower pusher resets the hands to zero.
