Realphabetization
Realphabetization is a term used to describe the process of reordering a list of items that have already been alphabetized. This might occur when new items are added to an existing list, or when the criteria for alphabetization change. For example, if a library has a catalog of books alphabetized by author last name, and new books are acquired, the entire catalog may need to be realphabetized to incorporate the new entries in their correct alphabetical positions.
