Ravinnevirroilla

Ravinnevirroilla is a Finnish term used in hydrology and environmental science to describe the transport and distribution of nutrients through river networks and other watercourses. The word combines ravinne (nutrient) and virroilla (on flows/streams). It refers to the pathways by which nutrients—predominantly nitrogen and phosphorus—move from terrestrial sources to water bodies, influencing ecological conditions and water quality.
