Ravidass
Ravidass, also known as Sant Ravidas, was a medieval Indian mystic poet and saint. He lived in the 15th century and is considered one of the most important figures in the Bhakti movement. Ravidass was born in a village near Varanasi and belonged to the Chamar caste, traditionally associated with leatherwork. Despite his humble origins, he gained widespread recognition for his spiritual teachings and devotional poetry.
