Rastbolzen

Rastbolzen, also known as a "rail pin" or "rail bolt," is a type of fastening hardware commonly used in railway track construction and maintenance. These bolts are designed to secure rail fasteners, such as clips or ties, to wooden or concrete railway sleepers (ties). Their primary function is to ensure the stability and alignment of railway tracks, allowing for safe and efficient train operations.

Rastbolzen typically feature a threaded shank with a hexagonal head on one end and a pointed or slightly tapered tip on the other. The threaded portion allows for secure attachment to the sleeper, while the head provides a surface for tools like wrenches or sockets to tighten or loosen the bolt.
