Raphia is a genus of palm trees belonging to the family Arecaceae. It is native to tropical Africa and Madagascar. Raphia palms are characterized by their extremely long, pinnate leaves, which can reach lengths of up to 25 meters (82 feet), making them some of the longest leaves in the plant kingdom.
