Rakusisesed

Rakuseised (intracellular) is a term used in biology to describe processes, structures, or substances that occur inside a cell. It derives from Estonian roots referring to a cell (rakk) and being inside (sisesed), with usage commonly seen in scientific writing to distinguish internal cellular aspects from those located outside the cell.

Rakusisesed processes include metabolism within the cytoplasm, organelle function, intracellular transport, and signaling pathways that operate inside the cell.
