Rabindrasangeet

Rabindrasangeet is a genre of Bengali music that originated from the works of Bengali polymath Rabindranath Tagore. Born in 1861, Tagore was a renowned poet, philosopher, and composer who laid the foundation of this genre. The term "Rabindrasangeet" is a combination of Tagore's name and the Bengali word "sangeet," meaning music.
