RAMPAGE

RAMPAGE is a 2018 American science fiction action film directed by Brad Peyton. It is loosely based on the 1986 arcade game of the same name by Midway Games. The film stars Dwayne Johnson as Davis Okoye, a primatologist who must team up with George, a rare albino gorilla he has been caring for, along with other mutated creatures, to stop an extraterrestrial threat.

The plot follows Davis Okoye, a former military man and primatologist at the San Diego Zoo, who has a close bond with George, an intelligent silverback gorilla. Their lives are disrupted when a genetic research facility's satellite crashes to Earth, releasing a pathogen. A shadowy corporation, the source of the pathogen, plans to weaponize the creatures. Davis, with the help of geneticist Dr. Kate Caldwell, must race against time to find an antidote and stop the mutated animals from destroying Chicago.
