QDI
QDI, also known as Quantum Device Interconnect, refers to a conceptual framework and emerging technology aimed at enabling seamless and efficient communication between disparate quantum computing devices. The core idea behind QDI is to establish a standardized protocol and physical interface that allows different quantum processors, potentially built on various qubit technologies (such as superconducting circuits, trapped ions, or photonic systems), to interact and exchange quantum information. This interoperability is seen as a crucial step towards building larger, more powerful, and distributed quantum computing systems.
The challenges in developing QDI are significant. Quantum information is extremely fragile and susceptible to environmental
