Pégoud

Pégoud refers to Adolphe Pégoud, a pioneering French aviator. He was born in Montferrat, France, in 1887 and died in air combat during World War I in 1917. Pégoud is best known for his groundbreaking aerobatic maneuvers.

On September 21, 1913, Pégoud made aviation history by performing the first successful loop-the-loop. He achieved this feat in a Blériot XI monoplane. This accomplishment was a significant moment in the development of aeronautics, demonstrating the capabilities of aircraft beyond simple flight.
