Päävariantin
Päävariantin is a term used in Finnish scientific language to refer to the main or most prevalent genetic variant within a population, sample, or lineage at a given time. The form päävariantin is the genitive of päävariantti, which combines the words for “main” or “principal” (pää) and “variant” (variantti).
