Common päällystystekniikat include spraying, dipping, brushing, rolling, and electroplating. Spraying involves atomizing the coating material and propelling it onto the surface, offering versatility for complex shapes. Dipping coats an object by immersing it into a liquid coating, suitable for uniform coverage. Brushing and rolling are manual methods, often used for simpler applications or repairs. Electroplating utilizes an electrochemical process to deposit a thin layer of metal onto a conductive substrate.
