Pulzusemelkedés

Pulzusemelkedés, meaning elevated pulse or heart rate, is a physiological response to various stimuli. It signifies an increase in the number of times the heart beats per minute above the individual's normal resting heart rate. This can occur due to physical exertion, emotional stress, excitement, or certain medical conditions.

When the body experiences increased demand for oxygen, such as during exercise, the heart rate naturally increases to pump blood more efficiently. Similarly, the "fight or flight" response triggered by stress or fear causes the release of hormones like adrenaline, which accelerate the heart rate.
