Puhelinluettelo is a Finnish term meaning "telephone directory" or "phonebook." It refers to a compiled list of telephone subscribers and, in many cases, businesses, arranged alphabetically and including contact details such as names, addresses, and phone numbers. Traditionally, puhelinluettelo described printed booklets published by telecommunications operators or directory publishers and used as a public resource to connect people and organizations.

Entries were typically organized by surname in residential sections and by business name in commercial sections. Additional information such as street addresses, job titles, or service lines could appear, and some editions offered features like reverse lookup or special sections for urgent numbers. Access to numbers has historically been governed by privacy rules; individuals could request unlisting or opt out from public directories in accordance with local regulations.

With the rise of the internet and mobile communications, puhelinluettelo has largely shifted to digital formats. Online directories and search portals allow keyword, surname, or business name searches and may support reverse lookup, map integration, and bulk data access. In Finland, services such as Fonecta have provided online versions of the traditional puhelinluettelo, alongside other directory and advertising products (including Yellow Pages). The term remains common in Finnish language to describe both historical printed directories and modern online directories, reflecting the shift from paper to digital ways of locating contact information.
