Pseudopilosas
Pseudopilosas are a genus of beetles that belong to the family Melyridae. They are small to medium-sized insects with a length of approximately 5-15 millimeters. Pseudopilosas are typically characterized by a elongated and slightly widen body with a rounded head and a narrow pronotum. The elytra are usually lengthened at the tip, covering the abdomen in a relatively even manner.
These beetles are primarily scavengers and feed on various plant materials such as flowers, fruits, and sap.
Different species of Pseudopilosas display distinct apomorphic characteristics, with various patterns of tooth or segment formation
