Prüfungserfordernisse are the conditions that must be fulfilled to be eligible to take an examination or to be credited with a successful result. They are usually defined in examination regulations and related study documents and can vary between institutions, disciplines, and degree levels. In higher education they commonly include formal prerequisites such as admission to the exam, current enrollment, and registration for the exam within specified deadlines, as well as proof of meeting module requirements like passing prerequisite courses or achieving minimum credits (ECTS).
