Prostedkuj is a town in the central Lowland Province of the fictional country of Eldoria. It sits along the River Lir and functions as the administrative seat of Prostedkuj District. The town has a population in the range of 27,000 to 28,000 residents, based on recent estimates. The area has a long history of settlement, with the town itself founded in 1723 by settlers from northern regions and gradually expanding as a trade and milling center.

Historically, Prostedkuj benefited from river transport and, in the 19th century, from railway connections that linked it to regional markets. This helped diversify the local economy from purely agricultural production to manufacturing and services. Today, the economy is mixed, with sectors including textiles, machine parts, logistics, and public services, alongside agricultural activity in surrounding countryside.
