Projektkeret

Projektkeret is a Danish term that translates to project framework. It refers to a structured set of rules, processes, roles, and artifacts that guide the planning, execution, and completion of a project. The framework defines the boundaries within which a project operates and establishes the governance mechanisms required to align the project’s outcomes with organizational objectives.

In practice, a projektkeret typically specifies a project’s purpose and goals, scope boundaries, expected benefits, and success criteria. It outlines the decision rights of sponsors and the project board, assigns roles such as project sponsor and project manager, and describes the lifecycle stages from initiation to closure. The framework may also set requirements for documentation, reporting, and approval gates.

Key components often include a defined governance structure, a process model or methodology, milestone and deliverable definitions, budget and resource plan, risk and issue management, change control, quality criteria, and a communication plan. It provides templates for documents such as a project charter, business case, risk register, and status reports, and it may specify acceptance criteria and handover procedures.

Organizations implement projektkeret to create consistency, enable control over budgets and schedules, and facilitate accountability.
