Poraajcy is a term used in worldbuilding and speculative fiction to describe a traditional communal ritual centered on reciprocity, resource sharing, and social reaffirmation within a fictional society. The concept functions as a narrative device to explore how communities balance individual needs with collective welfare, and how trust and cooperation are reinforced through ceremonial acts.

In typical portrayals, poraajcy unfolds on a regular cycle, such as a seasonal gathering or end-of-harvest festival. Participants contribute tangible goods—food, tools, or crafts—and may also offer intangible contributions like labor, stories, or skills. A central feature is the redistribution of goods through a public, token-based exchange, which serves to align personal interests with communal priorities. The ritual often includes a communal meal, ritual speaking rounds, and a public pledge in which participants reaffirm mutual responsibilities for the coming period.
