Polüestervaik

Polüestervaik is a type of synthetic resin derived from polycondensation reactions between diols and dicarboxylic acids. The resulting polymers are characterized by ester linkages in their main chain. These resins are widely used in various industries due to their versatility, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

Unsaturated polyester resins are a common subtype, where the polyester chain contains double bonds. These double bonds allow for cross-linking reactions, typically initiated by a catalyst and a promoter, leading to a hardened, thermoset material. This curing process transforms the liquid resin into a rigid, solid form.
