Polymeeribitumi

Polymeeribitumi, also known as polymer modified bitumen or PMB, is a type of bitumen that has been enhanced with polymers to improve its properties. Standard bitumen, a byproduct of petroleum refining, is a viscoelastic material that can soften at high temperatures and become brittle at low temperatures. The addition of polymers helps to overcome these limitations.

The polymers used in PMB can be thermoplastic elastomers like styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) or plastic polymers like polyethylene.
