Poliuretanii

Poliuretanii are a versatile class of polymers formed by the reaction of di- or poly-isocyanates with di- or poly-ols. This reaction, known as polymerization, creates a strong urethane linkage, which is the defining characteristic of polyurethane. The wide range of available isocyanates and polyols allows for the creation of polyurethanes with vastly different properties, from flexible foams and elastomers to rigid plastics and tough coatings.
