Platesnio

Platesnio is a fictional element with the atomic number 119 and the temporary systematic name ununennium, derived from the Latin *un* (one) and *novem* (nine), reflecting its position at the top of the periodic table. It belongs to the alkali metals group and is predicted to be highly reactive, similar to other elements in this group such as sodium and potassium. Due to its extreme instability and short half-life, platesnio has never been synthesized or observed in nature.

Theoretical models suggest that platesnio would be a radioactive metal with a single valence electron, making it prone to rapid chemical reactions. Its existence would complete the seventh period of the periodic table, placing it below hydrogen, lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium. Due to its position, platesnio would likely exhibit properties that are difficult to predict with certainty, as it would be influenced by relativistic effects and quantum mechanical behaviors.

The element has not been synthesized in laboratories as of now, primarily due to the extreme challenges involved in creating superheavy elements with such high atomic numbers.
