Pintakerros

Pintakerros is the outermost layer of a material that forms the visible surface and interacts with the surrounding environment. The term is used across disciplines to describe the uppermost coating or surface that determines appearance, texture, and certain functional properties of a product or natural surface.

In coatings and materials science, pintakerros refers to the final layer applied on top of a substrate, often called the topcoat or finish.
