Pilvelahendustes, often translated as cloud solutions, refers to the delivery of computing services, including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence, over the internet ("the cloud"). This allows for faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. Instead of owning and maintaining physical data centers and servers, users can access technology services on an as-needed basis from a cloud provider.

There are three primary models of cloud solutions. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provides fundamental computing resources like virtual machines and storage on demand. Platform as a Service (PaaS) offers a platform for developing, running, and managing applications without the complexity of managing the underlying infrastructure. Software as a Service (SaaS) delivers software applications over the internet, typically on a subscription basis, eliminating the need for installation and maintenance on individual devices.

The benefits of adopting cloud solutions are numerous. They include cost savings through reduced capital expenditure and pay-as-you-go pricing, enhanced scalability to meet fluctuating demands, increased flexibility and agility, and improved accessibility from any location with an internet connection. Cloud solutions also offer robust disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities, along with automatic software updates and maintenance handled by the provider. Security is another key aspect, with cloud providers investing heavily in sophisticated security measures to protect data and systems.
