Phuture is a music group consisting of DJ Pierre, Earl "Spanky" Smith, and Ron Hardy. They are best known for their 1986 track "Acid Tracks," widely considered the first acid house song. The song was originally released as a demo by Phuture and quickly gained popularity in Chicago's underground house music scene.
