Photogrammetria

Photogrammetria is the science and technology of obtaining reliable information about physical objects and the environment through the process of recording, measuring, and interpreting photographic images and patterns of electromagnetic radiant energy and other phenomena. It is primarily concerned with the creation of maps, models, and measurements from photographs.

The fundamental principle of photogrammetry involves taking overlapping photographs of an object or scene from different vantage points. By analyzing the parallax, or the apparent shift in the position of an object when viewed from different angles, it is possible to determine the three-dimensional coordinates of points on the object's surface.
