Personificación
Personificación, also known as prosopopeya, is a figure of speech in which a thing or abstract concept is represented as a person. This is achieved by giving human qualities, emotions, or actions to inanimate objects, animals, or abstract ideas. For example, saying "the wind whispered through the trees" personifies the wind by attributing the human action of whispering to it. Similarly, "justice is blind" personifies the abstract concept of justice by giving it the human characteristic of being blind, suggesting impartiality.
This literary device is common in poetry, prose, and drama to make descriptions more vivid and relatable.
