Periferális

Periferális is a term used in various fields to denote something situated at or relating to the edge or outermost part. In anatomy, it refers to the peripheral nervous system, which includes all the nerves and neurons that are located outside of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). This system transmits information from the central nervous system to the limbs and organs, and vice versa. These devices expand the computer's capabilities by providing input or output functions. The term can also apply to storage devices like external hard drives.

In a broader sense, "periferális" can describe anything on the outskirts or margins of a larger system or area. This could be a peripheral neighborhood in a city, located away from the city center, or peripheral industries that support a main industry but are not central to its operation.
