Performativním

Performativním is the instrumental singular form of the Czech adjective performativní, meaning something related to performativity. The term is used in grammar, linguistics and philosophy to describe a characteristic or function that is produced by the act of performing. In Czech, performativním is commonly found in phrases such as v performativním smyslu (in the performative sense) or performativním způsobem (in a performative manner). The word itself is a borrowing from English performative, with Czech feminine, masculine, and neuter forms adapting to grammatical case.

In linguistics, a performativní výrok (performative utterance) is a sentence that accomplishes an action simply by being spoken, rather than describing a state. Classic examples include phrases like I promise, I apologize, I christen this ship. In such utterances, the saying is the doing. This concept, introduced by J. L. Austin, contrasts with constative statements, which describe how things are.
