Peretikkahappo, also known as peracetic acid or PAA, is a chemical compound with the formula CH3CO3H. It is a carboxylic acid and a peroxide, featuring an acetyl group attached to a peroxide group. Peracetic acid is a colorless liquid with a strong, pungent odor similar to vinegar. It is highly soluble in water and also soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.

This compound is a potent oxidizing agent and is widely used as a disinfectant and sterilant.
