Parâng

Parâng, or Munții Parâng in Romanian, is a mountain range in the Southern Carpathians of Romania. It lies in the central-southern part of the country, primarily across Gorj and Vâlcea counties. The range forms a highland belt above the Jiu River basin and is known for its rugged scenery, glacial valleys, and alpine meadows.
