Parandavateks

Parandavateks is a fictional class of programmable metamaterials described in speculative science and science fiction. The term refers to modular subunits arranged in a lattice that can alter macroscopic properties such as stiffness, refractive index, and permeability in response to external stimuli, enabling adaptive behavior without external moving parts.

Conceptually, parandavatek units, or cells, form a tessellated network whose state can be switched by electrical, magnetic, thermal, or optical inputs. In commonly cited models, each cell occupies one of several discrete states that collectively produce a reversible phase transition of the material. The architecture aims to combine high strength with reconfigurability.
