Paineilmaruisku

Paineilmaruisku, also known as airless spraying, is a painting technique that utilizes high pressure to atomize paint without the need for compressed air. In this method, a pump forces paint through a small orifice at high pressure, typically ranging from 1000 to 4000 PSI. As the paint exits the nozzle, the sudden drop in pressure causes it to expand and break into a fine mist of droplets. This mist is then propelled onto the surface being painted.

The primary advantage of airless spraying is its efficiency and speed, especially for large areas. The high pressure allows for a consistent and even coating with minimal overspray compared to traditional spraying methods. This technique is effective for a wide range of materials, including latex paints, enamels, stains, and lacquers. It is commonly used in residential and commercial painting, industrial applications, and for coating large structures.

Airless sprayers consist of a motor, a pump, a high-pressure hose, and a spray gun with a tip. The pump generates the necessary pressure to move the paint. The hose connects the pump to the spray gun, and the spray tip controls the fan pattern and flow rate of the paint.
