Painduvusega

Painduvusega is an Estonian term that translates to flexibility or elasticity. It refers to the quality of being able to bend or adapt without breaking. This concept can be applied in various contexts, from physical objects to abstract ideas and human behavior.

In a physical sense, painduvusega describes the ability of a material to deform under stress and then return to its original shape once the stress is removed. Materials like rubber exhibit high painduvusega, while brittle materials like glass have very little. This property is crucial in engineering and design, influencing the choice of materials for different applications. For example, materials with good painduvusega are often used in shock absorbers, springs, and clothing.
