Pachino

Pachino is a comune in the Province of Syracuse, Sicily, Italy. It is located in the southeasternmost part of Sicily, known for its agricultural production and a coastline with scenic beaches. The town's economy is heavily reliant on agriculture, particularly the cultivation of tomatoes, citrus fruits, and melons. Pachino is especially famous for its cherry tomatoes, often referred to as "Pomodoro di Pachino IGP" (Pachino PGI), which have protected geographical indication status.
