PMOLEDnäytöt
PMOLEDnäytöt, or Passive-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode displays, represent a type of OLED display technology. Unlike their Active-Matrix (AMOLED) counterparts, PMOLEDs utilize a simpler driving mechanism. In a PMOLED, each pixel is controlled by a set of row and column electrodes. A current is applied to a specific pixel by activating its corresponding row and column. This basic structure makes PMOLEDs less complex to manufacture and therefore often more cost-effective for smaller displays.
The primary advantage of PMOLED technology lies in its simplicity and lower production costs. This makes them
However, the passive matrix design also imposes limitations. PMOLEDs are generally less efficient than AMOLEDs, meaning
