Oudomxay
Oudomxay is a province of Laos in the country’s northwest. The capital is Muang Xay. The province covers a largely mountainous and forested terrain with river valleys carved by the Nam Ou in parts of its eastern corridor. It borders several provinces and lies along customary routes between Luang Prabang and the northern provinces. The Nam Ou River is a major geographic feature, supporting agriculture and transport in the lowlands.
