Oppstartsenheten
Oppstartsenheten, also known as the Startup Unit, is a Norwegian government initiative aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the public sector. Established in 2014, the unit operates under the Ministry of Local Government and Modernization and is tasked with identifying and developing innovative solutions to improve public services and processes. The Startup Unit works closely with various government agencies and departments to understand their challenges and opportunities, and then collaborates with external partners, including startups, to co-create and implement new solutions.
