Objectscreatures are a class of sentient or semi-sentient beings formed when ordinary objects acquire autonomy and personality beyond simple automation. They may arise through enchantment, advanced technologies, or natural mutations, and are typically animate in form or behavior while retaining properties of their origin item.

Origin and mechanics: In fantasy settings, magic wards or runes can awaken objects. In sci-fi contexts, embedded AI, nanotech, or quantum systems can generate self-directed agents within everyday items. Some objectscreatures inhabit a specialized niche, such as weapons with guardian spirits or household items with memory.

Form and capabilities: Objectscreatures range from small, pocket-sized intelligences to larger constructs integrated into furniture or vehicles. They often possess perception within a limited radius, memory of interactions, and vocal or telepathic communication. Mobility is tied to the object's form; some can manipulate other objects, operate mechanisms, or alter their own appearance.

Behavior and society: Many act opportunistically or seek companionship with humans, though some form social groups with other objectscreatures.
