Oberhalbstein

Oberhalbstein is a valley located in the Graubünden canton of Switzerland. It is part of the larger Engadin region, situated in the southeastern part of the country. The valley is renowned for its stunning alpine scenery, characterized by high mountain peaks, clear lakes, and traditional Swiss villages. The main river flowing through Oberhalbstein is the Gelgia.

The region is a popular destination for outdoor activities. During the summer months, hiking and mountaineering are common pursuits, with numerous trails catering to various skill levels. The landscape offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including notable summits like Piz Lunghin, which is considered the source of three major European river systems: the Rhine, Inn, and Po.
