The centerpiece is the OSImallissa Shopping Center, opened in the mid-2010s, with surrounding residential blocks and small offices. The design emphasizes accessibility and integration with transit.

Urban design and land use: The district features a central pedestrian-friendly core, a plaza, and green spaces. It includes the OSImallissa Shopping Center, a public library, daycare, and municipal services. Ground-floor retail provides local services; upper floors hold housing and offices. The layout supports cross-traffic with multi-use streets and courtyards.

Transportation: Public transport access includes bus routes and proximity to a commuter rail line. Bicycle lanes connect to the riverfront and city center, while streets prioritize pedestrians. Car access exists but is limited in the core to reduce congestion.
